Where excellence meets compassion. Quality, Integrity and Service Kocher Farms LLC The Alpaca Farm…Our farm, along with many others, has an interesting story of its creation. It may not be the most dramatic of all the stories and that is ok. Kocher Farms LLC started as a simple dream and grew, quite quickly I must say, into a wondrous entity. Our story starts in a few small towns all over the USA. A dream was conceived in Burkburnett (first small town) Texas by Joe Morris to start an alpaca farm and leave active duty military for a more peaceful life (after two tours in Iraq, he was searching for peace). VISIT OUR FARMS:
guarantees/policies:At Kocher Farms LLC we believe in customer service. We love our animals and always demand the best for them. We offer breedings to our herdsires by either drive-by or drop off and board. If you choose to drop off and board, you will receive free board until your female is confirmed pregnant and you are notified. Once you are notified you will receive 30 days more of free board and after that the boarding fee will be $4.00/day per animal. We can pick up your female, and deliver her back to you for a fee. This fee will be set at time of purchase and will depend on mileage and fuel prices. A health check from a vet is required on any animal coming onto the farm, along with a negative BVD, and documented negative fecal. Upon confirmed pregnancy of the female we guarantee a live birth*. If you do not have a live birth we will give you a free re-breed to the same herdsire. If for some reason we do not have the same herdsire we will give you a free re-breed to an equivalent herdsire on our farm. We offer special deals for multiple breedings to any of our herdsires. We also love visitors on the farm, and will be willing to work with those who visit the farm and show genuine interest. If you purchase a pregnant female from us we guarantee a live birth*. If you do not have a live birth we will give you a free re-breed to the same herdsire. If for some reason we do not have the same herdsire we will give you a free re-breed to an equivalent herdsire on our farm. We will do our best to accommodate you with a package deal or single purchase. If you don’t see what you want offered in a package, let us know and we will work with you to make a custom package that is right for you and the alpacas. We can also include breedings, breed-backs, and fleece processing in packages…just ask. We accept cash, company checks, cashiers checks and money orders for payment. We may also be able to work out terms in the right situation. * Live birth is considered 10 days alive. We reserve the right to investigate the death and deny free re-breed if it is found that the death of the cria was due to negligence or abuse.
